Continuation betting is an effective strategy for Texas Hold'em poker where a player who has raised pre-flop bets are off regardless of whether the hand is healed. Because of This works because most of the players to miss most flops – and the representation of tensile strength of the people generally fold in these contexts that they lost.

Defending against the continuation bet poker can be difficult, especially if the opponent has experienced so much that the same input, when they have a strong hand. Defense is only possible when you are aware that the opponent may be betting "nothing" after the flop. If you can spot where this likely to be introduced to increase which may very well take the pot immediately – or call the show and take the pot after the turn should opponent appears weak.

The first way to find your opponent continuation betting is a good idea to get the right conditions, these bets. If such factors as the number of opponents, position, flop table describes the structure and are favorable to a high possibility that the face of continued reliance veto.

Many of the opponents give off the purpose of their bets on either the size or the time it takes them. For example, if you've noticed an opponent always bets the pot, when strong, and half the size of the pot when the poor – then you are very profitable. Makes notes about what the size of the average of the opponent's betting patterns is a key win in Texas Holdem Poker.

How to be an active opponent of events can also be used, whether they have a strong hand or continuation betting. If the very tight opponent suddenly raises the before and after the flop is a high probability that they are at least over-pair or top pair type hand. Stay out of the pot in these circumstances!

Once you have decided that it is likely the opponent is "doing the move" for the pot after the flop, does not show the real power, you must define the best defense. There are two ways to do this – even to make and re-raise.

Flat call has the advantage that the pot has been kept reasonably low. What are you looking for an opponent's reaction to call after the turn. Many players try to win the pot cheaply flop if they lost a hand, but not give up, even though they are called. This means that you can bet the pot on the turn if your opponent checks to you.

Raising the flop is an aggressive play. The success of this depends on many factors, such as the number of opponents left to act behind you, and texture flop. If you're pretty sure bet because of the size or timing (or physical) "tell" that your opponent is bluffing, then raise the defense may have several advantages. Not only Do you often win the big pot at once, but the opponents may be less likely to be a continuation bet later in the game, when you are in hand. The downside to bring here, that if you're wrong, you sometimes lose a big pot when folding should have been losses to a minimum.
