Can you rake in a poker game?

I live in Ohio and I've been considering holding a poker game at my house every other week or so to make extra money. I would like to offer a lot of food and drinks for players and I want to give the dealer all the time. Is it illegal to do while you're raking in the money used to restore and food? and if so, what is the penalty for getting caught? All responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

pdq is definitely wrong here. You can not to collect a rake, for any reason the game at home in Ohio. To the extent that the cost of food and drinks, you can ask people to bring stuff or eat the cost. So it goes, if you want to stay legal. Of course, you're probably not going to "stick" to collect some beer and pizza money, but technically the farm victory in a poker game (it does not matter if you do not turn a profit, collect the money makes a "profit") is a border organized crime and is definitely grossly throughout Ohio. To the extent that is angry about how they do it in Ohio, I do not know why people are complaining that they do not must make a profit in home games. Laws are in fact strictly Nevada and most places that allow gambling.
