The best poker book for me?
what is a poker book I would benefit most? im mainly interested in the strategies, things like mathematics in poker or calculating your odds. Id also be interested in learning about the techniques used by certain professionals and how to read your opponent. In principle, any good poker book that can help a beginner like me become a serious player:) Thank you. Sorry I forgot to mention the no-limit Texas Hold em)
It would help to to know what game you want to play. Are you looking for Texas Hold 'em? Looking for cash? Tournaments? Limit games? No Limit games? "Poker" is far too broad. Narrow it down a little. *** EDIT *** One of the best books for me was No-Limit Hold 'em: Theory and Practice by David Sklansky and Ed Miller. In this Amazon link.
