poker 5 10 rule

Texas Hold'em poker. The Board addressed directly to: 6-7-8-9-10. I am & J. My opponent is a D & J. Who will win?
6-7-8-9-10 …. I would say, split the pot. Huh? Correct me if I'm wrong. But the "basic" rule, using five cards on the table + 2 cards your best Hand out only 5 cards. So, I'd like to do directly with my J to 7-8-9-10-J, but then my opponent. Naturally, using the "sixth" card is out of the question. As I say, "My ace is higher than the King." Totally wrong. Also, what if my opponent has Q & A & J. I'm still J. He is the highest directly between me and him? Makign him the winner? My thinking is: we're both straight. The same investment. Both a straight flush, or both do not flush. Split pot. Huh? If not, when it is AKQJ-10 a straight flush. This beats all directly what so ever, right?
You have just first. 5 card hand, you both have a 7-8-9-10-J, and you can split the pot, not a sixth card. Extra K, or it does not matter. But if your opponent JQ, she is an 8-9-10-JQ, and it will win. 8-9-10-JQ is better than your 7-8-9-10-J. It is more direct. Yes, the 10-JQKA is the highest direct
