What is the most basic strategies to be followed when the Texas Hold-em?

I play online a lot and do well there. I went to a real poker night recently, and lost big. It seemed that I have a lot to learn. I would like to find a crash course in it somewhere. Links to sites would be good too. Thank you!

I prefer a real live online poker, then, an additional advantage because you can not read people give you the references you provide. Strategy 1: Practice your poker face. I'm not kidding, you need to learn how to keep a straight face when you have good cards, bad cards, and cards. Even slight facial expressions are tell-tale signs of quality hand you have and advanced / live players can pick up here. Strategy 2: Throw the odds out the window. Online poker is a serious conflict is driven. You have a pretty small odds calculator out and have become insanely a pocket pair and you flop, and it spits out the share and how much to bet.
